Public is welcome to the Annual Newell-Fonda Awards Day Ceremony at the Newell (Big) Gym, Monday, May 7th, 2012 at 8:30 am
Newell-Fonda Awards Day Show:
15 Blue Ribbons,
4 judges choice/honorable mentions (Yellow Stars),
4 best in category rosettes for:
-2D Drawing medias: pencil, ink, pastel, charcoal
-Painting, Printmaking, 2D mixed media, and encaustic
-Photography and Digital Art
-All 3D medias: ceramics, MM sculpture
2 Overall Best of Show Rosettes: one 2D and one 3D.
2012 Guest Judge: Working artist, Leslie Thomas, out of Shakopee, Minnesota.
Her work is comparable to expressionism and abstract expressionism.

MS Art Display/Contest 2011-- 5th-8th Grade
There will be two top awards in each grade, plus 1 honorable mention per grade.
There will be 2 top, and 2 honorable mentions in 3D for MS also :)
